PROCESSIONAL:
Morning Has Broken

Morning has broken Like the first morning,
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird.
Praise for the singing! Praise for the morning!
Praise for them springing Fresh from the Word!

Mine is the sunlight! Mine is the morning
Born of the one light Eden saw play!
Praise with elation, Praise every morning,
God's recreation of the new day.

A SIOUX PRAYER:

Inspiration and center of my universe,
Possessor of my soul, companion of my mind,
Your powerful medicine sustains me.

I walk in harmony with everything alive,
In peace I walk because of you.

I walk in harmony with everything beautiful,
I wall in harmony with you,
In beauty I walk because of you.

ALL: For you are with me. Your songs and good medicines comfort me and heal me.

LEADER: Food is prepared for me even when I am surrounded by those who hate me.

CLOSING SONG
THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND

This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to the New York island.
From the redwood forests to the Gulf Stream waters,
This land was made for you and me.

As I was walking that ribbon of highway
I saw above me that endless skyway.
I saw below me that golden valley.
This land was made for you and me.

When the sun came shining and I was strolling
And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling
As the fog was lifting a voice was chanting,
This land was made for you and me.
