 Pioneer Parent Meeting: 8/30 7:00PM Grounds for Hope (located in Trinity Church). Lisle, IL

• Our first official meeting will be a "parents-only" meeting.  If you do need to bring your son or daughter, there is a playplace that they can hang out and have some fun while we have our meeting.  We will use this time to introduce ourselves to one another and to give a brief introduction to the program, including campouts, future meetings and event registration. Bring your questions.

  Federation Fishing Derby 9/9 12:000 noon Barth Pond. Downers Grove, IL

•   Bring your family and friends to this event. We’ll have fun for the kids, hotdogs and burgers for everyone! All you need is your rod, reel and luckiest bait (don’t worry if you’re a novice – there will be people who can help with hooks, bobbers and sinkers).

  Important note: For those 16 and over who want to fish, you must purchase a fishing license! You can get one at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, The Sports Authority or online at http://www.dnr.state.il.us/. 

Fall Campout 9/21-23  Camp Tecumseh, IN

• Campouts are a cornerstone of the Indian Guide program.  Plan to attend this campout and find out why.  You and your child will get to experience many fun events..... the "black hole" slide, horseback riding, archery, rock climbing, a campfire with skits (and smores) and even a glow in the dark bug hunt.    ALL campouts are in cabins.
