Fees and Finances |
The Yomechas Federation is legally incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in the state of Illinois.
The Federation is affiliated with the Indian Boundary YMCA of Downers Grove Illinois, but the Federation is an independent financial entity.
We have always sought to keep member dues and fees as low as possible.
We are a volunteer organization; there are no paid positions.
Member Fees
All members must pay a beginning-of-year registration fee.
In addition, the Federation sponsors monthly events for its members.
Most events are self-funded.
Members pay only for the events they choose to attend.

Circle Activities
Circle meetings and activities are basic to the Adventure-Guides program.
The Yomechas Federation does not monitor financial decisions made by individual circles.
Participation in circle activities is voluntary and most expenses are trivial.
Perhaps the biggest single cost for most members is the cost of a vest.
Financial Assistance
The Yomechas Federation and Indian Boundary YMCA together offer a discrete scholarship program for families who want to participate but who are facing financial hardship. (To learn more, contact our Adventure-Guides Representative at the Indian Boundary YMCA.)
